SITUATION REPORT – 07 February 2023
On the 27th of January, HIA delivered 55 generators to Beregovo and Lviv. The generators will be handed over to schools and offices in Zakarpattia.
• During the past 8 weeks, HIA purchased and transported 180 metric tons of food, hygiene items and generators to Kherson, Lviv, Uzhgorod, Odesa, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Beregovo.
• Until the end of the reporting period, 2,811,000 USD value has been spent in Hungary, for Ukraine crisis related activities
• HIA has reached 242,361 people so far, providing access to basic humanitarian aid, protection activities and other life-saving services in Ukraine and Hungary.
Lviv Office has been going on with MPCA and C4P (Assess & Assist) supporting 4361 people from Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv oblasts. Kyiv Office has continued its infrastructure programmes with the Zahaltsi kindergarten and school reconstruction. Berehove Office distributed food, non-food items, hygiene items to 32 shelters in Zakarpattia region and to a church in Svalyava city that serves as point of distribution of humanitarian aid. In Hungary, the in-kind support assistance to refugees is continuous. In this period, HIA helped refugees with food kits in 7,797 cases, and with hygiene kits in 1,302 cases.
