Situation Report – 15 January 2024
- HIA has reached 502,267 people so far, providing access to basic humanitarian aid, protection activities and other life-saving services in Ukraine and Hungary
- Taking winter and cold into account, in Kharkiv, HIA – through his local implementing partner “Life Goes On” – helped people in need with 300 tons of briquettes and also with building materials for a residental apartment building
- Since the beginning of the conflict, HIA purchased and transported 2,301,239 kg of food, non-food and hygiene items to Ukraine
- As it’s winter, the number of recently arrived families from Ukraine continues to rise in Hungary, according to the experiences of the past month’s assistance requests.
